I want a heavy duty truck, but i dont plan on towing much more than 5000 pounds, Its a matter of want. However which of the two trucks are more fuel efficient for diesel and gas, and how much maintenence should i be expecting on all the engine options

get a 7.3 powerstroke ford 2010/11 whichever is out diesel

it will give you the most torque and mpg's for your money

around 30ish mpg and the dodges are known for their transmission problems
