I have a few Delco Remy alternators from some Chevys, they are 63 amp I believe. Most web sites that tell you how to convert the alternator into a welder tell you to remove the regulator. Will this increase the amps or will I be stuck at 63 amps?? Will

63 amps at 12 volt did not even melt the wiring on your Chevy's.
