PostHeaderIcon I was given a quote of $120.00 to install a freeze plug engine heater on a 2005 chevy blazer is this cost high?

I live in Idaho and this quote was from a garage not a dealership. I know the heater itself only costs about $22.00. I would think it should only take about an hour to change. Its a katz freeze plug heater.

I would say thats about right, most mechanics charge between 50-100 bucks an hour, some even higher (bmw/merc)

you live in Idaho, so the dealer knows that people will pay for it, so they might charge you a bit extra for it, but overall
