I have a 1995 Mercedes C180.On start up,there is engine noise that rhymes with engine rotaion.?
After engine warms up, oise stops.Had the idler pulley and shock damper replaced yesterday but the noise still persists! Any suggestions?

I have the same thing on my 1995 C280, but I just ignore it, so far my car is running perfectly, it's probably just something scraping against something else. Just ignore it, it won't do anything. My car's been making that noise on engine startup for
