So I just got a fairly disgusting go kart engine. Hadn't been used in quite some time, and worst of all the owners didn't empty it before storing it. So I take it apart (Obviously it didn't run) and theres alot of sludge left over where the carburetor

Can you take the carb off and take it apart on a table so that you don't lose any parts? Making a drawing of how it comes apart helps. Carefully clean as you go and count the turns on the screws so that they go back in the same rotations. Once back on
