I went on a road trip with some friends a few days ago, and the problem is where I live it's not that cold so I was told putting water in my radiator was fine. But during the trip we stopped by at a friends place and left the car there while we went out.

you need to get your radiator "flushed" by a licenced mechanic at a garage.
